Start with your FREE, no pressure consultation. Your Personal Trainer reviews your medical and exercise history, clarifies your goals, tests your strength, endurance and flexibility and recommends a customized workout plan. From there, you have options! You can choose to work one-on-one with your trainer on a regular basis, or following a recommended routine with occasional check-ins.

For twenty years I have committed myself to the world of coaching and training, helping people push past their perceived limitations. By setting realistic goals and offering continued guidance regarding workouts and meal plans, we will develop a program that gets results and have fun doing it.

I have been working in the fitness industry for over twenty-five years. As a trainer and nutritional coach my experience has instilled in me the patience and understanding to work with diverse populations and customize workout plans to meet individual needs and goals. Nothing is more fulfilling than helping others achieve their maximum potential. I have lived in the Locke Street area all of my life and been a member of the Gym on Locke since it opened in March 2009. I have come to appreciate the dynamics that Stefan has created and the resulting community atmosphere. My aim is to continue to meet and exceed your expectations.

It is my personal belief that fitness is an extremely important foundation for a happy life. I recognize that everyone’s fitness goals are as different as the individuals seeking to achieve them. My philosophy is that training should be individual, balanced and enjoyable in order to support people in meeting their goals. I work to create a training environment where all people are motivated and challenged to become the healthiest and fittest versions of themselves. Alex Schilbach

Fitness is a huge part of my life, and I believe it should be a part of everyone’s life. But it is my belief that we all need balance. Working out should not be a chore and it doesn’t have to be, let me show you how simple and fun this all really is.

My style is more strength based, in that I believe the stronger you can become the better your body will respond to weight training, and the more functional you can be in your day to day life. However, I also have a lot of experience in most things ranging from helping clients with fat loss, building muscle, and even helping others not only look great but feel great, whether they are in a suit or on the beach!

I have made all of the mistakes and fallen for all of the misinformation in the fitness industry. I don’t want you to do the same. Allow me to simplify the complex and turn the mystery of fitness into simple and tangible concepts. Let’s do this and let me prove to you that YOU can be the change.

I began my career in fitness in October 2000. I have operated as a Fitness Consultant, Head Personal Trainer, Assistant Fitness Manager to being a Circuit and Boot camp Instructor for the City of Hamilton. I specialize in training new clients and members that want to get in shape and who would like to live a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle.

Pete Relewicz

Managing Partner & Head Trainer

Hi, I am Pete, Managing Partner at The Gym On Fennell and a proud Hamilton Mountain resident.

Having been in the Fitness industry for almost 25 years as a Personal Trainer I felt it was time to advance my career to the next stage. I had grown tired of the “big box club” style of gyms.

I was given the opportunity to become an owner of my own Boutique Gym and I jumped at the chance. The Gym on Fennell has exceeded my expectations! The response has been over whelming and I feel honoured and humbled to serve the great people of this community.

Jenn Cino

Everyone should lift weights! Going to our Gym isn't about being ``skinny`` or seeing how much weight we can lose, but about gaining strength and feeling fit.

Woman in particular wrongly assume they are going to get ``bulky`` or ``big`` by using strength training equipment. The fact is, weights can help us build a desirable, athletic physique and give us confidence and more energy. To me, our Gym is an opportunity to build better versions of ourselves through smart training in a positive community environment.

Mykle Collins

Trainer

Mykle has been in the fitness industry since 2001, working as a Personal Trainer through corporate Fitness
clubs and Physiotherapy facilities, and independently since 2010.

He specializes in working one-on-one with people to help them understand how to exercise correctly for their
body-type and overcome their internal obstacles to achieving a healthier lifestyle. Mykle has a personal history in the Martial Arts, and studies eastern Psychology extensively, working with Meditation, Chakra energy balancing, and Yoga practices.

His past formal training has been predominantly through the CHEK institute, which is a holistic education company lead by one of his mentors, Paul Chek. Mykle has helped many people of diverse backgrounds change their lives for the better through exercise and inspiration, and holds a strong wish to be of benefit to many others.
